Aletheia Christian School
A Note from the Headmaster
Dear Friend,
Thank you for your interest in Aletheia Christian School. I hope our website is helpful in answering any questions you might have.
As a school, it is our desire to partner with parents in the education of their children. This partnership means that you will be active in the education of your child. In fact, most of our parents commit time to teaching at the school. Others may help out by substitute teaching, working on the cleaning crew, helping with administrative duties, or filling other various roles. As such, part of the interview process for incoming families is for parents to think through the areas in which their unique gifts might be utilized for the good of their children and the school.
If you are wondering whether this model of parent–school engagement is effective, the answer is easy: YES! Through the mutual commitment of our parents and faculty, Aletheia has much to offer:
- Small Class Size: No more than 8 students in each classroom.
- Affordable Tuition: Tuition costs less than 33% the tuition of other local, private schools.
- Continuing Education: Our parent volunteers learn from each other and have the opportunity to take part in enriching workshops and conferences.
- Aptitude Matching: We work to see that each role at the school is filled by someone who has a particular expertise or competence in that area.
- Academics: Aletheia's Stanford Achievement Test (SAT) scores are in the top 10–15% of all schools in Illinois. Because of our small class size, our students are afforded greater individual attention, which translates into academic excellence.
- Character: Most importantly, all of our faculty are devoted to developing our students' growth in character, and demonstrably increasing their commitment to serving Christ.
I hope you will contact us soon so you can see firsthand how Aletheia works.
Yours,
Chris Marchand and Amy VanAusdall
